Position Summary

Conducts entry-level recruitment efforts, including sourcing, screening, testing, interviewing and recommending placement of candidates. Maintains applicant tracking system, calendars and schedules interviewing appointments.

Essential Job Functions

  • Conduct screening/initial interviewing of applicants.

  • Completion of weekly reports on employment activity.

  • Maintain applicant flow process, and tracking for applications/resumes/etc.

  • Responsible for various projects as assigned (i.e. Conducts interview training with hiring managers).

  • Negotiates salaries on behalf of the organization.

  • Conducts background checks.

  • Identify and test new sources of applicants.

  • Administers assessments for potential candidates.

  • Build relationships on campuses to improve recruiting opportunities and effectiveness.

  • Participate in internal and source external job fairs.

  • Utilizes web sourcing to build efficiency and generate qualified applications.

  • Assist in defining job requirements by working closely with hiring managers to determine staffing methods and processes to meet business needs using a variety of methods and interactions including cold calling, databases, and creative recruiting solutions to attract qualified applicants to the credit union.

  • All teammembers must comply with regulatory compliance and assigned training requirements including but not limited to BSA regulations corresponding to their specific job duties. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary and other employment-related actions.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.


Education/Years of Experience/Certifications

High School Diploma

1 - 3 years of previous related experience required

Experiences in financial services or banking recruitment preferred

  • Positions within Facilities and ATM Services may be exposed to dust, gas, odors or fumes and power grasping. May be required to work from a ladder.
