The Opportunity:
Axos Clearing is looking for a technical Business Analyst to support our software development team on complex, customer-facing integration and UX projects. The Business Analyst plays an important role in the organization by performing several activities related to the company's PMO functions. This position will be primarily responsible, under limited supervision, for acting as the BA on various IT Agile initiatives in accordance with Axos' Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes. This role will be responsible for eliciting, documenting, communicating, and storing the functional requirements for projects.

The Role:
Coordinate the elicitation, specification, and validation of the functional requirements for the project with the business (including the creation of PBIs/user stories)

Conduct interviews to gather customer requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods

Clearly translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements

Identify and establish scope and parameters of requirements analysis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics

Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards

Use ADO (Azure DevOps) as a tool to document PBIs/user stories and acceptance criteria accurately

Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts as needed

Create test plans and scripts to validate that requirements are met, or work with QA to achieve the same as needed

Document and communicate enhancements and modifications of business requirements to stakeholders/team

Report their actual level of effort in the agreed upon time tracking system, Daptiv

Perform other duties as assigned

Are You A Fit? :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, IT, Finance or related field, or equivalent experience

3+ years' as a Business Analyst with implementation experience in complex environments

Experience working in the securities/clearing industry

Experience with Agile/SCRUM project methodologies

Knowledge of all phases within the SDLC and experience managing or working with IT software development projects

Ability to gather requirements on multiple, complex projects simultaneously and manage competing priorities

Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Independent, self-starter with the demonstrated ability to learn/adapt to new technologies and techniques

Ability to effectively prioritize, lead, and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:

Knowledge of Daptiv, Tableau, and Azure DevOps
