Northrop Grumman is seeking a qualified Program Cost Schedule & Control Analyst 3 to join our diverse team. This position will be located in San Diego, CA.Essential Functions:This Program Cost Control Analyst position will primarily be focusing on financial analysis. Under minimal supervision, this position will interface with the program managers, functional management, and senior leadership to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements. Candidates will have experience with financial analysis of traditional financial metrics (Awards, Acquisitions, Sales, Operating Margin, ROS%, Cash). Financial tasks to include but not limited to: financial modeling for Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP), funding analysis, cash flow analysis, invoice tracking, profitability, support monthly/quarterly financial reviews, risk analysis, and ad-hoc reporting. Additional responsibilities will include: Performs analysis and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. Candidate will also be responsible for supporting the preparation and coordination of financial forecasting and reporting. Internal reporting requirements include incorporation of forecast, identification of staffing issues related to baseline/ETC, and execution of corrective action or updates using program reporting tools.This is a fast paced high energy environment that requires a self-motivated employee to join the team. The ideal candidate will possess the following traits and abilities: ability to use financial systems, with understanding of DoD financial rhythms; develop and implement solutions of moderate scope and complexity; analyze variances/trends and develop new methods and process techniques; work under very general supervision while completing numerous assignments per schedule and elevating potential issues to ensure proper management focus; exert influence on peers and internal customers; good interpersonal skills while representing the finance team on various projects.This position may be filled by a Program Cost Schedule & Control Analyst 3 or 4. Basic Qualifications for a level 3 are:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related and a minimum of 6 years related experience in financial analysis or a Master's Degree with 4 years of experience
Requires intermediate to advance understanding of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Basic Qualifications for a level 4 are:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related and a minimum of 10 years related experience in financial analysis or a Master's Degree with 8 years of experience
Requires intermediate to advance understanding of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of Financial systems (Oracle, Hyperion)
Must have a demonstrated working knowledge of EVMS
Be able to obtain and maintain Secret DoD Clearance
Financial forecasting experience with EVMS or government cost reporting
Understanding of Business systems (SAP, MPM, WinSight)
Candidate has the ability to identify issues and problems across multiple contracts and make recommendations to management for resolution of mitigation.
Master's Degree with 4 year experience

Salary Range: 83600 - 125400
Salary Range 2: 103700 - 155500

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
