Job description

An employer is looking for a Sr Business Process Analyst in the San Diego, CA area.

Advises and recommends areas of program planning, business requirements management, and program coordination. Interprets, evaluates, and interrelates research data, and develops integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-making.. Provides consultative, advisory, technical, and staff support, as appropriate. Ability to use survey and market research methodologies, systems, and techniques. Reviews current state workflows to identify areas of opportunity for improvement, thereafter executing on the project. Experience Level: BA or BS required plus minimum 6+ years of direct relevant experience.

Top 3-5 Daily Responsibilities:

1. Intake, review and maintenance of operational desk level procedure documents, process flows & other business process documents.

2. Meeting with subject matter experts from each Operational function to obtain information necessary for development of team documentation.

3. Intake, review and maintenance of process improvement initiatives and projects.

Minimum Requirements

- 6 years of Business Analyst or related experience

- Adept writing and communication skills.

- Developed abilities in process improvement projects and workflow review/creation.

- Experience with writing procedural documents and creating process flows.

- Microsoft Office Tools

- Program Planning and Coordination

SharePoint/PowerApps (+)

- Project management skills/experience (smaller-scale projects)

Desired Skills

- Healthcare and/or membership background

- Advanced skills in process improvement projects
