As the Talent Acquisition and Retention Specialist, you will be an integral member of our team and family, sourcing and recruiting top talent, coordinating the interview process, assisting with hiring and onboarding and building upon and enhancing our caring company culture through creative and engaging team building activities and events. ESSENTIAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

Within the first 60 days and ongoing:

  • Learn AMC Modern IT's mission, core values, service offerings, operations, hiring and onboarding processes.
  • Meet and build rapport with all internal team members; learns their roles and professional backgrounds and why they stay at AMC to learn more about the company culture.
  • Train on the hiring process, strategic sourcing techniques, sourcing reporting and developing recruiting messaging. Begin conducting roleplay phone screen calls 2x per week.
  • Meet with hiring managers 1-1 to understand positions & hiring needs for the next 6 months.
  • Post and manage all incoming job applicants from active job boards and is completing up to 10 phone interviews per week for open positions.
  • Weekly, shares a summary of candidates pipeline report, weekly strategy, & key metrics.


By the 3rd - 4th month mark and ongoing:

  • Is sourcing 100 new contacts weekly via Linkedin, resume databases or direct email research, through multiple touchpoints with a 30% conversion to responses documented in ATS.
  • Conduct and complete thorough and detailed professional reference checks.
  • By 4 months, has built a talent pipeline of 150+ qualified candidates for regularly hired positions who are ready to join within 30-60 days.
  • Has been trained on by COO and assists with 50% of the new hire onboarding process.
  • 4+ new hires have joined the organization that align with the business, both technical knowledge as well as the positive and good character personality to help AMC's clients be successful.
  • Coordinates and ensures employee team building activities are occurring at least monthly, based on feedback from employees, resulting in a positive enhanced company culture.


By the 6th month mark and ongoing:

  • Ensure all processes for sourcing and recruiting efforts are documented into detailed SOPs and updates quarterly as processes evolve and shift and priories changes.
  • Has planned out team building activities for the next 6 months and shares with the COO for budget approval. Coordinates events to maintain and enhance company culture.
  • Handle basic HR questions and next steps for item and/or is resourceful to find the answer.
  • Continuously looks into other benefits AMC could offer employees to build upon the culture based on what is most exciting and important to employees. Adds into budgets & schedules.


By the 9th - 12th month mark and ongoing:

  • Is seen as the hiring and employer brand ambassador for AMC interacting with candidates & is a culture champion internally to help continuously enhance & engage with employees.
  • A total of 8+ new hires have joined the team that align with the business & AMC's core values.
  • Follow up with Hiring Managers to assess quality of hire for new employees from start date. Keeps track of input and shares monthly with the leadership team.



EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of sourcing, recruiting experience required preferably in an IT centric or highly technical industry
  • College degree in Business, Human Resources, Communications or similar a plus
  • Intermediate level computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook, Google, LinkedIn, familiar with Boolean searching and types 60+ wpm with 100% accuracy required
  • Experience working within 2 or more Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferred
  • Understands through experience the nuances and requirements needed to be a successful candidate relationships builder required
  • Has a strong learning mentality and open to continuing to develop and advance recruiting skills and knowledge to improve results required
  • Experience successfully handling confidential information with the utmost judgment and discretion required
