Join our team and help us continue to make this an exceptional place to work!As an Analog Design Engineer working on power conversion technologies, you will be part of a collaborative team developing high-performance mixed-signal integrated circuits, including innovative power converters and other circuitry in advanced CMOS processes. You will play a meaningful role in developing next-generation devices and ensuring that leading consumer electronics manufacturers can easily integrate our devices into their products.ResponsibilitiesDevelopment through concept, architecture, design, and design integration into high-performance mixed-signal ICsModeling of solutions using tools such as Python, Matlab, Simulink, and Spectre AMS DesignerTransistor level implementation and verification of the designLeading all aspects of layout implementation and performing post-layout simulations and optimizationHands-on lab evaluation, silicon learning, and debugSupporting post-silicon activities including product validation, characterization, and production testRequired Skills and QualificationsMS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering and 5+ years of professional experience in integrated circuit design engineering or BS with 7+ years of experience in mixed signal productsDeep understanding of analog design flows including architecture, design, and design integrationHands-on lab test/debug experience with scopes, logic analyzers, and other lab equipmentStrong oral and written communication skillsPreferred Skills and QualificationsExpertise in power conversion architectures, transistor-level design, and simulationUnderstanding of control theory for power conversion solutionsProven understanding of high-level scripting/modeling tools such as Python, Matlab, Simulink, or similarExperience with AMS verificationThis position is located in San Francisco, CACirrus Logic is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
