Job description

A local and reputable corporation in the Santa Barbara area has an immediate need for a Tier 1 Support Technician. This position is entry level and is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in IT and operations. This position calls for an individual who has a natural inclination to solve technical problems, has excellent customer service skills, and is a true team player.

Responsibilities Include:
-Providing basic level tech support over the phone as well as through email and instant messaging
-Managing, organizing, and elevating incoming tickets
-Diagnosing technical issues and providing guidance to customers
-Interpreting trends and patterns from data
-Training customers on how to use the software
-Assisting with billing related inquiries
-Assisting with order fulfillment as well as inventory and stock management

Skills and Knowledge Needed:
-At least 1 year in a customer facing role
-Previous experience in IT and proficiency in basic computer functions
-Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
-Ability to learn new technologies as well as assist others in learning new technologies
