Job description

What will you be doing?

• Developing and evaluating debt profiles of various clients
• Performing financial modeling and cash flow analyses to evaluate debt financing alternatives for municipal entities
• Drafting internal and external correspondence and client presentation materials discussing financing strategies, market trends, Barclays' qualifications, etc.
• Gathering, analyzing, and presenting financial data (e.g. government budgets and financial reports, economic/ market data, financial forecasts, pricing results, etc.)
• Researching legislative, market, or other developments relevant to our municipal clients
• Transaction execution, including managing deal logistics, running cash flows, investor and rating agency presentations, and reviewing financing documents

What we're looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum GPA of 3.2, or equivalent
• Two or more years of prior experience in financial services, government, or related field as well as familiarity with and understanding of financial markets
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Strategic thinker, solutions-oriented, adaptable, with the ability to multitask while exhibiting a high level of attention to detail

• Demonstrated interest in public policy
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint

You will be working at our 4 Embarcadero Ctr San Francisco location. This state of the art office is located in the heart of the city and is easily accessible to public transportation.
