Commercial Banking provides financial solutions to businesses with annual sales generally in excess of $5 million. Our business lines are Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Middle Market Banking, and Treasury Management & Payment Solutions.

Treasury Management & Payment Solutions

• Provides cash management services and digital channel capabilities for customers of Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking
• Also serves some Consumer and Small Business Banking and Wealth and Investment Management customers, and Auto Dealer Finance partner relationships in Consumer Lending

The Wholesale Customer Experience Analytics (WCEA) team, within Treasury Management and Payment Solutions (TMPS), provides a broad range of data consulting, analytics and reporting in support of customers of Commercial Banking and Corporate & Investment Banking lines of business, as well as customers specifically using Treasury Management, Deposits and Commercial Digital Channels. We support product insights and development, transformation, risk mitigation, and enhanced customer experiences through deeper understanding of customer transactions, behaviors, and experiences via both traditional and advanced analytic methods.

Responsibilities of this position include:

• Drive data strategy, automation, and enhanced analytics in support of the Treasury Management Transaction Risk Intelligence Group (TRIG)
• Deliver analysis, insights and reporting of Treasury Management products and transactions, and Wholesale customers
• Act as a subject matter expert on payment transactions
• Participate in the evaluation, recommendations, and implementation of data strategies to improve WCEA processes
• Exploration of new products and transaction data

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

CA - San Francisco: Min: $93,700 Mid: $132,000 Max: $170,300
NC- Charlotte: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,00 Max: $141,900
MN- Minneapolis: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,00 Max: $141,900

May be considered for a discretionary bonus.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

• 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling demonstrated through work or military experience; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling

• Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

• 5+ years of experience with SAS, R, Python, or other SQL-based query tools
• 5+ years of data mining and reporting experience utilizing Teradata, Oracle, or SQL Server databases
• Knowledge of Treasury Management products and services
• Experience analyzing payments data, specifically Commercial and Corporate
• Experience working with Commercial and Corporate customer information
• Previous experience in Wells Fargo Teradata databases such as EIW, BMG, and WDM would be helpful for the role
• Experience with business intelligence (BI) solutions (Tableau, Microstrategy, etc.)
