The Role

Our Banking Partnerships lead will be responsible for building and driving a centralized, cohesive partnership program to support our top banking partners. This role requires a strong self-starter able to think strategically while executing tactically, and to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders in a high-service environment.

What You'll Do

  • Drive our overall partnership strategy with our banking partners, including account plans, stakeholder interviews, and in-market execution.
  • Ensure alignment on partner approach with key internal stakeholders like Product, Revenue and Engineering, ending in the creation of clear outcome-driven partnership plans.
  • Act as the 'face of Galileo' to represent our company in all necessary partner meetings, including both product alignment as well as joint go to market execution.
  • Create co-marketing and narrative opportunities, and drive execution of those with internal Marketing partners.
  • Identify and prioritize potential areas of partnership growth (more effective use of existing products or addition of new products and services)
  • Manage any necessary legal or financial negotiations with partners
  • Identify potential product needs by studying current business and partner with Product to communicate those needs for consideration.
  • Help escalate and manage resolution of critical but blocked partner items on behalf of internal stakeholders
What You'll Need
  • +5 years experience in managing strategic client relationships that include objective setting, account planning and renewal/up-sell with revenue targets
  • +5 years experience working with banks and associations as partners
  • Incredibly strong cross-functional partnership experience and approach. At Galileo, there are several functions involved in serving our clients.
  • Strong presentation and executive management skills required
  • Experience in the payments industry is preferred.
