Treasury Prime is building a compliance team to guide, consult and support our fintech and bank customers in their joint quest to increase access to financial and banking services. This role will be reporting to the Associate General Counsel, VP of Compliance Solutions and sits within the Legal and Compliance team. This individual will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support Treasury Prime's collaborative approach to AML and regulatory compliance by guiding, training, and working alongside fintech customers as they establish a foundational compliance program. In this role, you will have an opportunity to leverage compliance expertise to help our customers build and enhance processes related to transaction monitoring and regulatory compliance, understand risks and develop tools to assist our partners in their respective journeys.
You will:
* Collaborate with fintech and bank customers in standing up a compliance program, including implementing an AML transaction monitoring tool, adjudicating alerts, conducting Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews, reviewing Know Your Customer (KYC) waterfall, and building out policies and procedures
* Work with Customer Success, Sales, and GTM teams during all stages of customer lifecycle on compliance-related matters
* Assist in building out and enhancing Treasury Prime's compliance solution and tool kit for its fintech customers
* Work with the Risk Team to create a customer risk rating and profile
* Conduct trend analysis of alerts and Unusual Activity Report (UAR) referrals on behalf of fintech customers
* Support fintech customers in tuning transaction monitoring rules and any ongoing reviews related to investigations
* Develop content, training, and written materials on relevant compliance topics alongside the Marketing team

* Deep knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT ACT, financial crimes, and compliance risk management
* Substantive experience (5+ years) working in AML with an understanding of transaction monitoring processes and AML/CTF typologies
* Excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to interpret and explain complex laws and regulations in simple terms
* Ability to understand the highly regulated banking industry and identify regulatory risks related to payment services and processing
* Strong interest in the intersection of technology and financial services
* Preference towards candidates with fintech and start-up experience
* Innovative, customer-focused mindset
* CAMS Certification preferred
