Job description

We are working with a global Elite Boutique firm looking to add an experienced Associate to their San Francisco Biotech/Pharma M&A team. Their SF Biotech group is headed by one Partner, previously an Executive Director at JPM, and the SF team works closely with their NY office led by the two Global Co-Heads of Healthcare previously at Deutsche Bank. The SF Junior team consists of 4 current Analysts & 1 Senior Associate to which you'd be adding to. Pay for this group lands strongly above-market, being significantly higher than Bulge Bracket and other Elite Boutique firms.

Ideal Candidates will be current Analyst 2s up for promotion to Senior Analyst or current Senior Analysts open to remaining at that level. Previous Biotech M&A experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of Investment Banking experience, preferably with M&A Biotech experience
• Experience building financial models, valuations, pitchbooks, CIMs etc.
• Strong accounting skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and tight-knit team
