Summary of the position:
The Talent Acquisition (TA) Team is looking for a skilled Recruiter, leading our recruiting efforts on the West Coast. This individual will be responsible for managing the full recruiting life cycle across a variety of business areas and roles. This role is client-facing and will provide support in the areas of identifying, attracting, and hiring talent. The successful candidate is passionate about providing an exceptional candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full cycle recruiting for the West Coast region and property management functions, across all levels.
- Work with hiring managers to identify hiring needs and alongside the TA Director develop recruitment strategies for existing and new business lines.
- Write job descriptions, source candidates, review resumes, screen and interview candidates, negotiate offer terms with selected candidates, and conduct reference checks.
- Debrief with managers and gather post-interview feedback, helping guide managers through decision processes.
- Conduct and assist managers with behavioral-based interviewing methodologies, driving the company's hospitality approach and refining interview processes and best practices.
- Manage all communication with candidates providing complete and accurate information about the company and position.
- Understand key business dynamics across regions, functions, and projects in order to represent business activity to candidates as part of closing process.
- Streamline our processes and improve upon existing programs. Take on projects of impact to the candidate experience.
- Ensure that all vendor relationships are maintained and are compliant with our agreements.
- Partner with the HR regional team to anticipate recruiting and talent management related needs.
- Continue to integrate Diversity Recruiting strategy for assigned region and functions.
What does it take:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of experience at recruiting agency or in-house recruiting role, with ability to manage multiple concurrent searches
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and thrive working in a collaborative and professional style
- Self-starter, with entrepreneurial approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves
- Experience using an ATS such as Workday would be considered a plus
- Sourcing experience, ideally working on key projects within LinkedIn
- Ability to partner successfully with multiple stakeholders across a variety of business functions
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment
