Job description

Title: SAP FICO S/4 HANA Functional Consultant

Start Date: Immediately

Rate: Negotiable

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Remote


As the FICO S/4 HANA Functional Consultant you will work with your immediate team, other modules business Analysts and Project Managers delivering solutions. As a critical resource of a growing IT team, you will help develop solutions based on the growing business need and Manage development Lifecycle from design to production deployment.


Responsibilities:

  • Review existing implementations, identify opportunities for improvement
  • Taking complex requirements and either match them to out-of-box capabilities or achieve final design through minimal customization
  • Configuring and testing SAP systems to reflect designed solutions
  • Lead the configurations, functional specifications, testing, documentation and issue resolutions for the SAP FICO module
  • Guide/review the configuration and functional specifications for other modules
  • Guide the preparation of work effort estimates and plans for all the modules
  • Provide the status updates and progress reports to Project Manager
  • Assisting in testing process in order to discover errors and issues in business processes, documentation or user's lack of experience
  • Application support and training of end users
  • Working closely with consultants from other modules such as AP, AR, GL, and MM

Skills / Experience:

  • 15+ years of overall experience in IT
  • Full implementation lifecycle (requirements gathering, detailed design, configuration, testing support, go-live support) for at least 3 successful SAP FICO S/4 HANA implementations
  • 7 + years of SAP and FICO implementation experience
  • Strong business analyst skills and knowledge specifically in the SAP Accounts Payable
  • Should have strong solutioning experience in Finance and Controlling areas like Pre-Settlements, Estimated Overhead, Chart of Accounts Redesign, Redesign of Assessments, Distributions and Settlements
  • Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
  • Strong Customer facing skills including likes engaging with the business daily building relationships with the business team members
