Job description

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst opportunity to play an essential role in setting up the manufacturing controlling function. You will prepare product standard cost projections and manufacturing & supply chain budgets. And this position reports to the Director of finance.

Position Summary:

• Track raw material and finished goods inventory movements and publish periodic closing statements.
• Report on COGS changes and track cost reduction projects, evaluate alternatives to potential COGS increases.
• Analyze variances in costs, inventory and cash flow and publish reports to measure performance against business objectives.
• Approve payments to key suppliers based on pricing, manufacturing and distribution agreements.
• Provide inputs to support contract negotiations and renewals with key suppliers.
• Publish and analyze key metrics in the manufacturing and supply chain area to measure implementation of continuous improvement targets.
• Develop and implement processes, tools and systems necessary to establish effective cost controls and reports.
• Support new product development programs with product cost and program budget estimates.
• Primary contact for the accounting team on manufacturing and supply chain related topics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Flexible and proactive to work successfully in a startup environment.
• Solid organizational and verbal skills with interpersonal skills to partner, collaborate and build relationships.
