We're looking for someone who can model the future and collaborate to help carry projects from conception through execution. In a typical day, you may extract insights from data, build business cases for new products, and design and launch pilots. You'll help determine and lead some of the most impactful projects we undertake as a company.
About The Role
You will lead a team that oversees a $1B+ budget used to improve our consumer's experience on our platform. Key areas of P&L ownership include our Support team, Credits and Refund Policy, Cancelation policy and multiple other variable cost line items. You will manage budgeting, forecasting and partnering with our operational partners to improve our spend efficiencies in these areas. This high impact role is important to scaling DoorDash's cost structure and shaping our consumer experience strategy.

- Identify and measure important risks and opportunities in our business
- 7+ years of strategic finance, equity research, investment banking, or consulting experience at a high-growth technology startup or well-established company
- Experience managing forecasts for major departments within an organization
- Advanced Excel (can write advanced macros) and financial modeling skills. Build financial models used by teams throughout the company, and to size opportunities and build business cases for pursuing new projects
- Experience with logistics or consumer business
- We are leaders - Leadership is not limited to our management team. It's something everyone at DoorDash embraces and embodies.
- We are strategic - We believe the only way to predict the future is to build it. Creating solutions to lead our company and our industry is what we do -- on every project, every day.
- We are learning - We're not afraid to dig in and uncover the truth, even if it's scary or inconvenient. Everyone here is learning on the job, no matter if we've been in a role for one year or one minute.
- We are customer obsessed - We are committed to our clients and connected through our vision of "Delivering Good"
- We are all DoorDash - The magic of DoorDash is our people, together making our inspiring goals attainable and driving us to greater heights.
