Social Media Strategist

Job description

Our B2B SaaS client is looking for a Social Media Strategist to join their team as interim coverage, 40 hours/week, potential to convert for the right fit!

We are also looking for a Social Media Manager with 3-5 years of experience for the same client, feel free to apply if you have less than 10 years of experience.

The ideal Social Media Strategist has the following experience:

- 10+ years of related industry experience

- B2B, large enterprise software industry and SaaS (B2B is a must have)

- Broad experience including brand identity, art direction, content strategy and development, video, and paid social media

- Previous experience managing or collaborating on paid social media strategy

The Social Media Strategist will:

- Maintain, grow, and engage with our followers, overseeing all earned social media outreach

- Lead the strategic development and execution of key strategic social media initiatives

- Overall management and leadership of global social media strategy to expand reach and boost engagement across owned social channels by attracting new followers and turning existing followers into brand advocates

- Develop an integrated social communications strategy and editorial social calendar orchestrated across functions (brand, product marketing, PR, field events, customer advocacy, diversity & inclusion, and HR)

- Curate social-first content of marketing initiatives and trending topics, through storytelling, that builds brand strength and positive sentiment/connection with our communities

- Oversee the day to day posting on relevant social media platforms, work with marketing functions for real-time posting for time-bound triggers (events, competitive response, crisis, etc.)

- Rigorously apply analytics to track and manage performance, inform decisions on social content, and set priorities
