Job Title: Staff Accountant
Location: San Francisco, CA

We forge partnerships with high quality franchise brands, who deliver highly-qualified franchisee borrowers seeking capital to grow their franchise empire and escape the growth limitations of traditional financing.
We are looking for a staff accountant. This position reports to the Assistant Controller and is supporting the full cycle of accounting. The Staff Accountant will partner with colleagues to track and drive insights from financial data. This full-time position is located at our headquarters in San Francisco's financial district (remote due to pandemic)
Role responsibilities:
· Prepare the month end close activities including the preparation of general ledger journal entries and account reconciliations.
· Generate customer invoices and reconcile revenue on a recurring basis.
· Manage the vendor relationships, accounts payable and perform other activities related to vendor management and expense reporting.
· Review and approve employee expense reporting in accordance with the company's travel policies.
· Support financial and SOC audits.
· Assist with the implementation of processes to streamline the company's accounting functions.
· Support management in completing special projects, ad-hoc reporting and other tasks as assigned.
· Assist in implementation of new accounting policies and procedures.
· Prepare & gather required information for various tax filing.
· Assist in payroll processing and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
· Provide backup coverage and supports to daily operations and other finance areas.
Skills and Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting
· 2-3 years of corporate accounting experience.
· Excellent computer and excel skills
· Outstanding oral communication, analytical and written skills.
· Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively.
· Attention to detail, organized and thorough with the desire for continuous improvement.
· Ability to work independently and be a strong team player.
· Hands-on experience with QuickBooks, Concur and Bill.com is a plus.
