About the Role
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for owning the day-to-day recruiting process for a particular office or group of offices and working with staff at all levels to ensure that quality candidates are sourced, screened, recruited and guided through the orientation process. This consists of oversight of local recruiting support including scheduling of recruiting events, developing interview schedules, managing candidate information and applicant tracking metrics, participating in offer decision meetings, overseeing offer letter production and coordinating orientation. This role is also responsible for the implementation of Cornerstone's recruitment strategies and best practices.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is also accountable for developing and maintaining professional relationships with local core universities and other organizations, managing various internship programs, assisting with the annual budgeting process, and supporting training for staff members.
How You'll Help Us Be Successful
* Build and maintain relationships with school career centers and placement offices.
* Serve as the campus event point person for career fairs, presentations, etc. When appropriate, attend on-campus events to assist with the successful execution of the event.
* Research and assess the best methods to promote recruitment activity such as events, internet postings, networking/referrals and other methods of advertisement.
* Coordinate office specific activity by tracking candidate flow from application to interviewing through offers and onboarding. Maintain current status of candidates in iCIMS (applicant tracking system).
* Act as liaison to candidates throughout the interviewing process.
* Managing the daily operations of the office-level recruitment efforts through scheduling local recruiting meetings, facilitating resume review, scheduling interviews, and coordinating materials.
* Track and manage full-time hiring reports and data. Report on metrics to local office staff and Talent Acquisition team leadership on a regular basis.
* Coordinate offer visits and other special recruiting events.
* Facilitate feedback collection for all candidates and attend candidate decision meetings.
* Ensure offer letters are prepared accurately and on a timely
* Coordinate background checks, orientation, and training for new hires.
* Partner with HR to ensure a proper handoff from recruitment to new hire onboarding, including immigration and maintenance of reporting on acceptances and start dates.
* Lead various team or firm-wide initiatives or special projects as requested.
What You'll Need to Be Successful
* Bachelor's degree required
* 3-5+ years of Corporate recruiting experience, preferably in professional services
* Experience with applicant tracking system required; experience with iCIMS a plus
* Self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a proven ability to cultivate strong business relationships and work within a team
* Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks/responsibilities simultaneously
* Demonstrated sense of urgency and attention to detail and a proven ability to analyze and anticipate potential conflicts and resolve quickly
* Proficiency using Microsoft Office required
