The Opportunity
The Rodan + Fields Talent Acquisition Specialist will operate as the primary point of contact for the candidate experience and applicant tracking system. They will assist the Talent Acquisition team, manage the employee value proposition and provide strategic administrative support through the hiring, selection, and onboarding process.
Reporting to the Director of Integrated Talent Management, the successful candidate will play an integral role in helping drive Rodan + Fields values and philosophy through organizing talent acquisition activities that are strategically linked to the organization's mission and vision. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with the ability to work quickly, efficiently, and accurately on multiple assignments simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the candidate journey is well-executed, providing a seamless experience for all candidates: overseeing scheduling, candidate travel arrangements and hotel accommodations, reference checking, background checks, paperwork management, and logistics around candidate on-site and virtual interview experience.
- Serve as a brand ambassador for R+F.
- Post openings to appropriate internal and external sources, including the R+F Career pages, LinkedIn, Facebook at Work, and other job sites
- Source and recruit for junior to mid-level positions, including analyst/technical positions across multiple business units.
- Responsible for managing the temps/contractor program and act as primary liaison with preferred staffing agencies
- Assist the team in managing key recruiting metrics, weekly status updates, reporting requirements, and dashboards and manage projects focused on increasing productivity and process improvements for the team.
- Coordinate administrative aspects of recruiting logistics, including heavy scheduling, travel arrangements, and hotel accommodations
- Create and maintain employee/contractor files
- Prepare offer letters and other new hire documentation
- Submit background checks and track progress
- Conduct reference checks, as assigned
- Follow-up with candidates, recruiters, and other internal stakeholders to ensure a positive candidate experience
- Assist with other HR administrative tasks, as needed
- Assist recruiting team in developing and presenting enterprise-wide training.
- Assist the Integrated Talent Management team with candidate onboarding, as needed.
- Act as the subject-matter expert and system administrator on Jobvite ATS - including adding/deleting users, system changes, reporting, etc. Troubleshoot problems and recommend domestic and international technology tools to attract stellar candidates and enhance the candidate experience.
- Manage Contractor/vendor contracts and PO's in Coupa
- Successfully work cross-functionally with other teams within the organization
- Strong interest in the recruiting/staffing or Human Resources fields
- Advanced Jobvite experience preferred or experienced with other ATS systems, including reporting, metrics, etc.
- Bachelor's Degree in related concentration is required
- Excellent attention to detail
- 3-5 years demonstrated experience designing and executing talent management/acquisition processes, programs, and ATS technology
- Demonstrated a high level of confidentiality, discretion, and sound judgment
- Able to respond to significant scheduling needs and manage recruiting calendar
- Outstanding organizational skills and follow up skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Committed to creating & searching for new and innovative approaches to activities that enhance performance
- Resourceful in overcoming roadblocks that hinder processes
- Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Comfortable with change - know-how and when to be an effective, successful change agent
- A high degree of organizational and time management skills; able to set and manage expectations and competing priorities
- Demonstrated experience of practical oral and written communication skills with key stakeholders, including senior business leaders
- Demonstrated experience working on multiple projects and organizing activities to meet various competing deadlines.
- Excellent analytical skills, including advanced proficiency in Excel
