Senior Financial Analyst

Job description

Looking for a data driven, detail oriented individual to be the direct finance business partner to multiple teams in our R&D organizations. Successful candidate should have a "roll up the sleeves" attitude, as well as be able to effectively interact with R&D Group leaders.

Actively manage groups expenses by providing fact-based management reporting and

analysis of actuals and forecast inputs. Influence timely and optimal decisions

to align with financial targets.

Facilitate resource planning priorities and proactively help manage spending/investment drivers and funding trade-offs. Create finance operating models and metrics to drive functional spend excellence. Recommend and implement process improvements.

Role: Senior Financial Analyst

Location: Austin, Boston, San Jose

Must Haves

· A CPA and/or MBA is preferred.

· Extensive ERP and Business Intelligence systems (e.g. SAP and Tableau) and MS Office applications.

· Excel Expertise is mandatory for this role.

· FP&A Background

Business Group Support

· Prepare monthly and quarterly product reports for Digital & Signoff and Verification Software business groups.

· Prepare quarterly Datamart reviews with group leaders to complete product line P&L

· Research / Analyze / Prepare Quarterly Forecasts, Annual Plans, and Flux Analyses on Headcount, Expense and Capital for business groups

· Complete quarterly close responsibilities; including journal entry preparation, purchase requisitions review, job requisition approval tracking.

Position Requirements

· 4-5 years of experience in FP&A

· Understanding of OLAP cube methodology is a strong plus, preferably Hyperion, OutlookSoft and/or SAP BPC/EPM.

· Extensive ERP and Business Intelligence systems (e.g. SAP and Tableau) and MS Office applications. Excel expert preferred.

· Ideal candidate must have a great attention to detail and be able to manage multiple priorities.

· Experience in the technology industry as well as public accounting is also a plus.

· Bachelor's degree is required, with a major in Accounting or Finance.

· A CPA and/or MBA is preferred.
