The Lab Assistant under the immediate direction of the Supervisor, Laboratory Director, and subsequently the Medical Director of the Laboratory, performs non-technical duties, associated with specimen collection and processing for laboratory testing.

Required Training/Education/Experience/Certification:

* Minimum of 4160 hours at SVRMC Laboratory and able to perform duties in multiple areas and/or works as a site/department lead.
* Ability to perform specimen collections on newborn, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients accommodating the special needs of each age group.
* BLS
* Phlebotomist
