Job description

There is only one Data Cloud. Snowflake's founders started from scratch and designed a data platform built for the cloud that is effective, affordable, and accessible to all data users. But it didn't stop there. They engineered Snowflake to power the Data Cloud, where thousands of organizations unlock the value of their data with near-unlimited scale, concurrency, and performance. This is our vision: a world with endless insights to tackle the challenges and opportunities of today and reveal the possibilities of tomorrow.

The Marketing Intelligence team has the vision to predict real time ROI to dynamically optimize our marketing programs and ultimately disrupt the aged B2B marketing analytics practices.

As a Senior BI Analyst you'll partner closely with executives and leaders across the Marketing team to decipher insights and patterns from the vast amounts of data that's constantly being generated by our Product, Marketing Tools, CRM System, Website and 3rd party Ad providers. You will:

* Act as a brain for our marketing and leverage insights to invent new ways of running campaigns, engaging customers, and winning customer minds.
* Build and deploy models and dashboards to optimize the paid media mix across channels to decrease cost per lead and improve the quality.
* Support quarterly business reviews, provide timely ad-hoc reporting and performance monitoring for primarily (but not exclusively) the Demand Gen and Digital team.
* Orchestrate best-in-class data visualizations and presentations that convey insights that are meaningful and actionable to business stakeholders.
* Act as "customer zero" for Snowflake so we can continue to evolve an even more powerful, intuitive Snowflake product and demonstrations of our internal Snowflake on Snowflake utilization.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

* Advanced degree, preferably in a quantitative discipline (Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Information Systems, Engineering, or CS)
* +5 years of experience working with SQL and relational data (preferably in MPP databases, such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
* Advanced SQL skills for analysis, standardizing queries, and building data infrastructure involving large-scale relational datasets
* Experience using Python to parse, structure, and transform data
* Familiarity with Digital Marketing and tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Heap Analytics, and Adobe Experience Manager
* Experience developing reporting and dashboards with modern BI tools, such as Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Snowsight, or similar tools
* Excellent communication skills to summarize insights and recommendations to audiences of varying levels of technical sophistication

Snowflake is growing fast, and we're scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
