We are hiring a Sr. Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis. The Sr. Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis manages, prepares, administers and directs the control of the budget. This role requires excellent communication skills - both verbally and in written form - to explain budget and forecast details to Senior Management. The Sr. Manager will effectively explain variances against budget, forecast or prior year. This person also manages the activities of the financial analyst staff, and reviews and approves recommendations for financial planning and control, providing relevant fiscal information to the executive management team. Additionally, the Sr. Manager is responsible for developing and managing internal financial audits of various business operations. This person will develop a formal reporting system to communicate results of audit activities to management and regulatory compliance agencies, and may be called upon to provide leadership and technical guidance for compliance with JSOX compliance. In addition, the Sr. Manager selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of the consolidated financial budgets, quarterly forecasts, and MRP functions with primary focus on providing financial analysis and insights
- Track performance relative to budgets and forecasts, review actual results and concisely explain variances against budgets and forecasts based on commercial and operating drivers
- Lead the preparation of timely and accurate monthly/quarterly consolidated financial results presentations that provide important insights and participate in executive review meetings
- Supporting and analyzing the business plans or new product development plans (including payback period) with business unit team or R&D team.
- Drive continual improvement in budget and forecasting, reviewing processes to expand data-driven decision-making
- Develop, maintain and manage advanced reporting, analytics and dashboards that provide actionable insight into the levers of the business
- Liaise with accounting team & group companies to improve availability and flow of information
- Lead or directly support operating management with ad hoc financial, market and trend analyses to prioritize strategic initiatives or investment decisions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with finance team leads to ensure their financial reporting support needs are met to allow for analysis and insights
- Develop team members' careers and professional development
Experience/ Education:
- Bachelor's degree required, Accounting Degree preferred
- Minimum five years of consecutive experience performing in FP&A in a complex manufacturing environment.
- Accounting firm experience is preferred
- ERP experience a must; SAP experience preferred
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Extreme attention to detail
- Expert Excel skills
- History of building functional dashboards
