Job description

The Senior Vice President-Corporate Strategy will be a part of the Executive Management team and will report directly to the Chief Strategy Officer. This position is highly visible and will play a key role in working closely with members of the Executive Committee and Board of Directors to drive the execution of acquisitions and equity investments in support of the company 's growth strategy. The Senior Vice President-Corporate Strategy will be responsible for providing leadership around every aspect of mergers and acquisitions for the company to include playing a lead role in sourcing, identifying, planning, executing and integrating M-A transactions. Responsibilities will require an understanding and communication of structuring, due diligence, valuation, negotiation and executive presentations for all transactions.

Successful candidates will have a minimum of 15+ years of M-A/corporate development strategy experience. Experience in the Technology Industry, to include high level knowledge/experience in IoT Business, is a must. Additional experience will include strategic mindset and significant relevant M-A, Corporate Development, Investment Banking or Transaction Advisory experience and the ability to advance the strategy-led M-A framework; experience in executing M-A deals (B$ size) in strategic player side; experience in managing Investment Bank and various advisors (from deal sourcing to execution); capability to do high level analysis of business segments; patience in dealing with different cultures and different decision making mechanism/logic; and devotion to transforming large old conglomerate into digital-ready company. An MBA is expected. While the position is in Santa Clara, CA, remote consideration will be given to the successful candidate.
