They are looking for a qualified Human Resources Manager and will work closely with the SVP of Human Resources on the strategic planning, oversight, and day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department. The Human Resources Manager is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the Human Resources function. Maintains confidentiality and promotes positive employee morale. Demonstrates flexible, efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload to ensure work is completed by deadlines. Ensures practices are in compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as, all applicable state and federal laws and banking regulations. Performs project work as assigned by SVP of Human Resources or Executive Officer. Essential Job Duties: • Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt, nonexempt and temporary workers including writing and placing advertisements, working with recruiting firms (when approved and appropriate) and screening and interviewing candidates, reference and/or background checks. Works with the hiring manager to extend job offers • Develops and administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel • Plans, organizes and controls all activities of the department including developing department goals, objectives and systems • Builds and maintains relationships with vendors such as recruiting firms, background check agencies, etc. • Writes job descriptions in collaboration with department leaders Supervisory Responsibility: The position of Human Resources Manager may be responsible for supervision of the Human Resources Generalist and/or HR Assistant. Qualifications: • Minimum 7 years? experience in a human resources with specialized knowledge in the areas of recruitment, benefits administration, payroll and HR systems (Paylocity preferred) • Minimum 2 years? supervisory experience • HRCI or SHRM certification required • BA degree in human resources, business, psychology or related fields or combination of equivalent education/experience • Comprehensive understanding of local, state and federal employment There is more to this direct hire opportunity and we need qualified individuals like yourself immediately.
