DETAILS:

Overview - Must have passion for analytics, data and storytelling with visualization tools including Qlikview and Tableau. Successful candidates must be self motivated in learning business processes and have a focus on making recommendations for simplification and efficiency. Candidates must have prior proven technical lead experience, providing design feedback, guidance on code and making user experience improvement recommendations.

• An experienced analytics developer with solid ability to create data visualizations

• Must have the ability to understand PL-SQL in order to convert existing queries and move them between environments.

• Must have exposure to multiple BI Qlik implementations in the areas of designing intuitive interfaces and dashboards for canned and ad-hoc reports.

• PL/SQL skills to create complex joins and awareness of the functions

• Good understanding of DataMart/Data warehouse concepts

• Analyze, study and understand business domain data requirements, user task flows and objectives and create well designed and user friendly solutions for visual data delivery and analysis

• Ability to work iteratively and convert business requirements to quick prototypes with different visualization options

• Oversee the development of multiple prototypes, mock-ups and conceptualization of ideas that bring simplicity and context to complex design challenges

• Strong understanding of Data Visualization concepts and ability to identify trends & patterns in the data for providing actionable insights

• Identify and evangelize design best practices in data visualization that promote user friendly and high quality products.

• Strong analytical and data modeling skills with a proven ability to analyze issues, technical risks and recommend permanent solutions to issues

• In-depth experience with Visual Analytics and a knack for creating clean & readable visualizations/charts/graphs

• Be curious to get to the business users motivations and needs to create user-friendly dynamic dashboards

• Skillful in the ability design for performance and optimization

• Developer must be a solid team player and communicator working with other developers, tech leads, architects, business systems analysts, and software quality testers

• Experience working in agile methodologies in a fast-paced environment

• Able to troubleshoot and detect data issues and committed to quickly resolving

• Adhere to methodology and process standards

• Ensure systems meet functional and technical standards

• Identify improvements for processes, standards, deliverables, etc.
