Publications Specialist (Environmental Consulting)


Location: California (Remote work option available)


Aspen Environmental Group is seeking an industrious, organized publications professional to support our document production team in producing and formatting large reports and proposals. Supervised hands-on training will ideally lead to this position becoming Aspen's corporate Publications Lead in 2022.


We work in a casual and supportive environment with a team atmosphere. Offices are located in San Francisco, Agoura Hills, Sacramento, and Upland, but this employee may work remotely from anywhere in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones.


Required Experience and Education

  • Proficiency in MS Word (at least intermediate-level expertise), Adobe Acrobat, and Windows 10.
  • Excellent grammar skills
  • Experience with large document production
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree


Key Responsibilities

  • Format all types of environmental documents and reports, using a wide range of in-house tools and programmed macros
  • Develop document templates and establish styles in coordination with project managers, accommodating clients' varied requirements
  • Ensure high-quality products for all project deliverables and marketing materials
  • Coordinate with multiple project managers and authors to ensure that schedules are met
