Job Description

The FP&A Growth Marketing team delivers visibility and predictability across LinkedIn's financial performance for Growth Marketing. The team is looking for a motivated individual with a strong analytics background to build an array of analytics capabilities to shape LinkedIn's financial reporting, forecasting, and planning processes.

You will serve as the key strategic financial advisor for LinkedIn's marketing leadership, including their direct and cross functional support teams. You will leverage data analytics to drive decisions affecting our go-to-market strategy that will accelerate company growth and success at scale, and you will partner with Data Science, Business Operations, and Marketing Operations to drive financial and operational rigor of the business. Successful candidates possess strong analytical skills. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Director FP&A.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key analytics partner to FP&A managers and other stakeholders to build & provide strategic financial insights and recommendations
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain financial/operational datasets and dashboards to monitor performance and analyze business drivers
  • Develop, implement, and scale tools and processes to automate and streamline financial processes across LinkedIn's businesses and regions
  • Work with our Data Science team to help create machine learning forecasting & optimization models
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of work experience in an analytics or quantitative role
  • Experience with SQL, Data Visualization (Tableau, PowerBI), and Python
  • BA/BS degree in quantitative discipline: statistics, operations research, computer science, informatics, engineering, applied mathematics, economics, or related
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience or demonstrated understanding of building/implementing machine learning models and optimization models
  • Experience in a strategy and finance role, demonstrated understanding of FP&A processes, or demonstrated genuine interest in learning the space
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
