This is a Direct Hire Opportunity

Shifts available:

• 2nd Shift - 2:00pm-10:30pm
• $25-$35/hr. dependent on experience

What's a typical day as a Maintenance Technician like? You'll be:

• Coordinating work priorities with available resources.
• Inspecting and monitoring work areas, examining tools and equipment, and preventing/detecting/correcting unsafe conditions and/or violations of procedures/safety rules.
• Ensuring materials, tools/equipment and knowledge are planned and available for the maintenance activities being conducted.
• Performing routine and non-routine preventive maintenance as identified through inspections and the preventive maintenance program.
• Completing maintenance documentation/forms as required.
• Maintaining maintenance records of equipment and work order entries.
• Assisting in equipment changeovers as needed to support production operations.
• Assisting with the facility start-up/shutdown of production and all supporting/associated equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Industrial maintenance experience.
• Demonstrated work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Technical school training in the form of certified courses, technical degree or related experience.
• Two years of experience as a full-time maintenance mechanic or in a related field.
• Able to maintain presence of mind under stressful conditions and readily accept change.
• Comfortable reading, writing, and communicating in English
• Capable of lifting, pulling, or pushing up to 50 pounds
