Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Recruiter to find and attract candidates whose talents are aligned with Ember's business goals. This role will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruiting process across several departments and leading a team of recruiters. The Lead Recruiter will aid in the development of recruiting plans, sourcing strategies and resources as well as bring new, creative recruiting ideas.

Responsibilities

* Manage full-cycle recruiting process ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience
* Establish and maintain relationships with hiring managers to stay abreast of current and future hiring and business needs
* Advise and train hiring managers and interviewers on recruitment practices and procedures
* Leverage multiple sourcing strategies and channels including LinkedIn search tools, internal referrals, networking, and job boards to provide high quality candidates
* Provide recommendations to improve the recruiting process, including information regarding the market conditions of compensation, benefits, and other relevant factors
* Discover, evaluate, and help implement new technologies to streamline recruiting efforts
* Develop and implement hiring strategies to attract top talent
* Source candidates, screen resumes, conduct interviews, evaluate skill level
* Drive offer process, including extending offers, negotiations, and closing candidates
* Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships
* Support the onboarding process to ensure closed candidates are provided with adequate support from their hiring managers and the company systems and processes
* Organize and attend job fairs and careers events as necessary
* Work with Recruiting Coordinators to schedule and arrange interviews
* Maintain a complete record of interviews and assist with administrative duties as needed
* Lead and mentor recruiting team in managing work allocation, training, and building an effective and efficient team dynamic
* Support recruitment and hiring efforts for the recruiting teams as needed
* Perform other job-related duties as required

Qualifications

* BS/BA degree or equivalent required
* 5+ years of full life-cycle recruiting experience in a fast-pace environment, tech background preferred
* Demonstrated experience in partnering effectively with various departments and all organizational levels
* Ability to develop creative hiring strategies and execute within deadlines
* Highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong decision-making skills and ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
* Proven relationship building skills and ability to foster teamwork
* Demonstrated resourcefulness and initiative in dealing with daily expectations
* General knowledge of various employment laws and practices
* Skilled in database management and record keeping
* Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work
* Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
