Job Description:

The Operations Project Consultant role supports Mortgage Solutions - Modification Fulfillment Group. The Modification Fulfillment Group (MGF) assists customers who are experiencing a financial hardship and are seeking a modification to their mortgage loan. The MFG team manages the Centralized Rules Decision Engine and the various modification programs available based on regulatory and investor guidelines and eligibility requirements.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

◾Daily analysis, research and resolution of varied problems for the group.

◾Administering defined procedures, analysis and report generation, and exception processing.

◾Coordinates the implementation of loan modification programs and operational solutions.

◾Tracks production metrics and its impacts to laws, rules and regulations.

◾Provides guidance to associates within own unit regarding procedural, technical and/or operational changes.

◾May participate in testing and project work including designing, documenting, implementing, monitoring of new loan modification programs or changes.

Required Skills -

◾Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the field of mortgage servicing.

◾Effective communication skills (listening, verbal and written).

◾Proficient computer skills utilizing mainframe and PC software packages.

◾Strong systems orientation.

◾Intermediate accounting skills, specifically, amortization.

◾Excellent teamwork, organization, and admin skills.

◾Multi-tasking, possesses a high degree of attention to detail.

◾Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint with dual screens.

◾Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.

Desired Skills -

◾Knowledge and basic navigation in MSP preferred.

◾Knowledge of loan modification programs.

Enterprise Description

Responsible for medium - large projects for an operations department, product or business unit. Provides consulting expertise to line managers on productivity issues, analyzes market and operational impact in the business brought about by the project parameters. Researches and documents organizational reviews, workflow analysis, management and staff analysis. Develops project plans including estimates of cost and resources required. Defines project scope to others outside of operations that may become involved in or impacted by the project. Requires a thorough knowledge of the operations area.
