Job Description:
Serves as the Human Resources Business Partner for designated business units working closely with the regional Human Resources team to provide strategic improvements in support of the business. This position manages core human resource programs including talent acquisition, talent management, engagement, employee relations, compensation, performance management, diversity and inclusion, training and compliance related activities.
ACCOUNTABILITIES :
- Function as a business partner with leadership teams to develop and execute critical business and organizational strategies.
- Provide leadership, guidance and counsel on matters related to talent, organizational change, employee engagement etc.
- Develop and execute HR plans, processes, and programs aligned with business objectives, including succession planning, talent management/acquisition, goal alignment, employee engagement and communications.
- Collaborate with leaders to build and support an employee engagement strategy that facilitates organizational performance and enables successful organizational change.
- Support the recruitment function for internal client groups, including planning, sourcing and selection processes.
- Facilitate and manage programs such new hire orientation, annual performance reviews, compliance, compensation, policy deployment and leaves of absence.
- Lead community involvement and associate recognition initiatives and programs.
- Act as a change leader for improvements to associate communications and continuous improvement initiatives to the Human Resources Function.
Job Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Critical Knowledge and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Labor Relations, Human Resources or Psychology or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of experience in a progressive human resources role with expertise in organization development, training or talent planning field, or a master's degree in human resource management and three years' experience in the HR field
Critical Skills/technical know-how:
- Must be an authentic thought partner with confidence and courage to push boundaries.
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects with strong prioritization skills.
- A strong solutions-focus and be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables with a high-volume workload along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions.
- Excellent organizational skills, exceptional subject matter expertise, a high degree of adaptability and the ability to anticipate and respond to changing priorities.
- Proven consulting and/or change management experience.
- Proven knowledge of HR industry practices and strong working knowledge of employment laws.
- Keen problem-solving skills, with a fondness for providing solutions or paths to resolution on complex matters.
- Unquestioned integrity Operates with autonomy, discretion and excellent judgment.
Critical Experience:
- Benefit to have previous HR experience in manufacturing or medical device; as well as an international corporation
- Demonstrated ability to influence and partner within a diverse organization to help drive business results
- Relevant industry experience or knowledge (preferably within a cutting edge, highly innovative and rapidly complex changing work environment)
