K2H Civic Futures Public Achievement Program Assistant Coach

The K2H Civic Futures AmeriCorps Program focuses on civic learning and engagement opportunities and skill development for kindergarten through higher education (K-H) students. In addition, the K2H program strengthens partnership pipelines between K-12 systems and higher education systems that create continuity for civic learning and engagement initiatives as students transition from K-12 to higher education.

Member Duties : Review and assess the PA program structure, under the guidance of CCE leadership. This included but is not limited to the meeting, recruitment and application, orientation/training, and communication structures and resource sharing; general resources and information sharing about the PA program to the campus community and to North Middle School and other partner sites as needed; and general language used to describe and introduce the program. With the support of the Student Director of PA, coordinate PA programming, to include: trainings, reflection sessions, and meetings with Team Leads and Coaches; lesson planning and on-site support and guidance during K12 school visits; PA events; communications; and logistics and processes to include coordinating transportation and budget oversight.
