Job Summary

Working closely with the Director, this role will help lead the organization through a transformational shift in Marketing Communication Automation.

The email marketing manager will drive growth for the business by leveraging and building meaningful customer experiences and email best practices to create value for our members. We are looking for someone who is data-driven but creative, has built new campaigns from scratch, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has successfully executed complex lifecycle email campaigns.

The email marketing manager will manage and execute all aspects of email campaigns, with a customer-first mindset. This role will execute the day-to-day operational tasks, including content planning and briefing, managing internal and external partners to deliver changes, and testing final content to ensure a positive consumer experience.

This person will proactively learn about customer behavior and engage in understanding other reporting and customer analytics that influence email channel improvements. Keep current on email best practices such as data capture, relevant customer content, campaign analysis, and deliverability.


Responsibilities

  • Write creative briefs and manage production workflow to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within agreed strategy and plan

· Coordinate email content and campaign execution by partnering with internal teams including design, content, and marketing

  • Plan, design, and execute lifecycle marketing tests to uncover opportunities for driving increased campaign engagement and conversion
  • Daily coordination, execution, proofing and communication of email campaigns

· Utilize marketing reports and consumer data to optimize existing campaigns and increase journey engagement

  • Create and implement A/B testing for subject lines, content, and design. Analyze test results and apply findings
  • Use handlebars and snippets to create dynamic email templates
  • Work closely with other members of the team to ideate on new campaigns and ensure seamless transitions as customers move between journeys
  • Create and build complex segments for targeting


Education/Skills/Experience

  • 3+ years email marketing experience; experience with a B2B and/or Network Marketing companies a plus.
  • Experience building and sending from at least one major ESP (we use Iterable)
  • Strong knowledge of campaign management and experience building and deploying emails
  • Deep understanding of email KPIs and complex journey-based campaigns
  • Analytical skills to conduct tests and ability to speak to campaign performance
  • Experience with website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Experience building dynamic emails from scratch using template builders, HTML, and handlebars
