Here's what you can expect as a Senior Financial Analyst with DaVita's Team Genesis:
Genesis Finance oversees DaVita's real estate portfolio, capital expenditure strategy, decision-making on new clinic growth, and various special projects. We support executives within our real estate practice, our CFO, and various operational leaders through long-term financial strategies, economic analysis of key strategic decisions, and project management. Recently, our team has taken on a variety of special projects that require partnership across our financial portfolio, our accounting team, our field-focused strategy leaders, and operational executives. In the future, we anticipate the special project opportunities to increase as we create, scope, and execute projects.
The Senior Financial Analyst (Special Projects) is responsible for supporting process improvements, metric/report development, special projects, and providing detailed valuation analysis to ensure departmental goals and objectives are achieved, in alignment with DaVita's Mission and Core Values. This includes supporting processes for accounting for new clinic financial modeling, establishing business rules for translating enterprise financials to modality-specific financials, long-term capital deployment strategy, oversight of financial portfolios, and presenting materials to executive leadership.
This position is based in Denver, CO.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Developing and testing hypotheses, creating action plans, and executing special projects in partnership with various parties
- Creating executive-level materials for presentations, driving clear and concise language (written and verbal), and establishing appropriate next-steps
- Ability to handle multiple work streams autonomously with overlapping timeframes, assigning owners and ensuring accountability to all project goals
- Creative thinking through project ideation and brainstorming
- Support of our new clinic financial modeling practice, requiring developer training within Anaplan (willingness to learn required)
Minimum Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in a data-driven field (i.e. Finance, Accounting, Engineering) plus relevant work experience is required
- Three or more years of work experience, with a focus in finance, consulting, or accounting is strongly preferred
- Strong familiarity with financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement)
- Fluency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) required; familiarity with Oracle Hyperion and Anaplan requested but not required
- Experience leading projects, developing presentations, and building alignment with multiple stakeholders is required
- Power to quality-control all work created, create zero-defect financial models and slides, and manage all project inputs
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adjust priorities appropriately in an evolving work environment with shifting timeframes; self-starter with high degree of initiative, urgency, and follow-through
- The ability to drive project outcomes and deliver results
- Effective verbal and written communications; ability to adjust to fit the audience and the message
- Critical thinking skills
- Outstanding problem-solving skills to break down sophisticated problems into digestible pieces.

Salary/Wage Range
- $62,200 - $91,300
- Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
