POSITION SUMMARY **Denver Office - On site**

The Structured Finance Analyst will work closely with other members of the Non-Agency Capital Markets group, and will assist in managing securitizations and whole loan trades, among any other needs of the capital markets desk. The Structured Finance Analyst will be responsible for coordinating with counterparties on transaction engagements, communicating with rating agencies and counsel, running data integrity checks on loan tapes and due diligence reports, running blacklines on legal documents, and collecting signature pages and other transaction administrative tasks. The Capital Markets group will have additional projects that may require extra assistance from this resource and we expect this individual to be flexible with their tasks. Applicant should have excellent time management skills, attention to detail and be proficient in Excel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate private-label securitization processes.
  • In collaboration with non-agency resources and the Bayview securitization team, help manage all administrative aspects of private label securitization.
  • Collaborate with other key Bayview resources including: legal, due diligence, finance, accounting, broker/dealers, servicing, collateral transfer, custodians, and trustees.
  • Maintain and track all securitization issuance, including, deal type, size, transaction invoices, fees, investor participation, etc.
  • Process and maintain database for all invoices that flow through the Capital Markets group, and assist the Bayview Accounting team with reconciling where necessary
  • Develop relationships with third party securitization vendors to ensure smooth and efficient loan distribution processes.
  • Promote a culture of innovation by continuously challenging yourself and others to seek out process improvement initiatives, automation enhancements and idea generation to ensure the transactions are being run optimally.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES

  • Proven ability to manage securitization processes and assist in closing whole loan trades with high-level knowledge of structured products, contract finance and mortgage lending.
  • The ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with teams and individuals at all levels of the company and with third parties.
  • Eagerness to be in a dynamic environment and learn and expand responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently while focused on accuracy, efficiency, and delivery of product.
  • Willingness to be part of a team that focuses on time-sensitive products with dynamic views and goals.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • One or more years of related experience preferred.
  • Strong background in MS Office and database software required.

SALARY

Base: $70,000 - $80,000

Annual Bonus: 25% Target
