Responsibilities of the Fine Dining Busser/Food Runner include water service, pre-bussing tables, resetting tables, assisting the servers and bartenders, running food, and other duties as necessary to help the restaurant team and give every guest the best experience possible. All employees are charged with the responsibility to follow all rules and policies of the facility they are employed at and Vail Resorts Inc. Other duties as assigned. *Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): * * Welcome and greet guests * Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you're there to personally take care of them * Stocking, polishing silver, glass and dishware, setting, bussing and clearing tables, trash and recycling removal, expediting food, serving food and drinks, etc. * Answer questions about our food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services * Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests in a timely matter * Perform side work as required by service station assignment * Maintain clean service areas * Monitor and observe guests dining experience * Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service * Respond promptly and courteously to any requests * Clear and reset tables * Be ready and willing to assist fellow staff as situations arise * Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return * Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor * Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the facilities to maintain a COVID safe environment. * Other duties as assigned *Requirements: * * 18 years of age or older - required * HS Diploma or Equivalent - required * Previous restaurant experience - required * Must have or obtain valid TIPS certification within 30 days of hire - required * Able to lift and carry 40+ lbs - required * Able to work days, weekends and holidays - required * Fluent in English - required * Have a friendly and courteous attitude toward guests * Positive work ethic * Team-oriented attitude * Excellent guest service * Season-long committent - required The budgeted range starts at $15.00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
