Crocs is looking for a hard-working team mate who is adaptable, personable, and results-oriented. This person will ensure the effective delivery of human resources policies, practices and programs for half of the Americas retail group. The Human Resources Business Partner, Retail will handle all aspects of employee relations and development for the Crocs retail channel. They will complete all aspects of the HR function by implementing and leading Retail HR strategies, initiatives and programs that effectively support the mission, vision and values and objectives of Crocs, Inc. Areas of focus include employee relations, compliance, employee training & development, talent management, performance management, organizational development, and retail HR field process implementation. This position supports the Retail channel and reports to the Director Human Resources.
This role is responsible for ensuring that critical and priority needs are met in a timely and effective manner to preserve business stability and a fair, equitable, healthy work environment. Uses a high level of proficiency and expertise in all areas of HR.
SUMMARY
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) position is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management for the Retail Field. Will work to become a trusted advisor to leaders and have the ability to pivot between strategy and tactical execution seamlessly. The HRBP serves as a consultant to management on human resources-related issues. The successful HRBP will act as an employee champion and change agent. The HRBP assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. Communicating needs proactively with our HR department and business management, the HRBP seeks to develop integrated solutions. The HRBP formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the Retail organization. This position can be located in our Westwood, MA office or Broomfield, CO.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
* Conducts weekly meetings with Retail Field leaders.
* Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.
* Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues by conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations.
* Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
* Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to support group (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
* Acts as the primary point of contact to designated support groups for all HR matters, partners with HR specialists to successfully implement Talent Management, Total Reward and Talent Acquisition processes and initiatives.
* Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
* Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
* Provides input and support to the HR Director regarding business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning
* Provides support to Talent Acquisition during the recruiting and onboarding phase.
* Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
* Participates in evaluation and monitoring of success of training programs. Follows-up to ensure training objectives are met.
* Lead and develop an HRBP & HR Assistant.
QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's degree and relevant industry experience, SHRM certification preferred
* 5 years of experience working in an HR role
* 3 years of HR Generalist experience
* Experience in Retail preferred
* Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
* Proven track record as a strong business partner
* Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance and policy development and implementation.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate at all levels of organization.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to influence others
* Ability to analyze data to make decisions and/or recommendations that impact the business
* Strong ability to manage conflict.
* Ability to facilitate meetings and training sessions
* Demonstrated sensitivity to confidential materials/issues
* Proven success in a fast paced environment
