Job description

BlueHalo is looking for a Modeling & Simulation Analyst that has Missile Defense System (MDS) experience, modeling and simulation experience, and Verification, Validation, and Accreditation (VV&A) related experience. This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO or Huntsville, AL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs Modeling and Simulation (M&S) analysis and accreditation recommendations in any of the following areas to include but not limited to, Radars/Sensors (RF/IR), threat, environment, Interceptors, communications modeling or other simulated MDS components to verify and validate MDS models.
• Supports verification activities to assess M&S requirements within the representative HWIL/Digital Models.
• Performs validation analysis of HWIL/Digital models for all MDS elements to compare modeled data to referent data extracted for various MDS sensors, threats, or interceptors.
• Coordinates with lead analysts and leadership to provide timely Verification and Validation (V&V) evidence supporting plans, products, and reports - Supports Verification, Validation, and Accreditation (VV&A) activities, consolidates feedback from other team members, prepares and presents analysis results.
• Collaborates with counterparts from other stakeholder agencies such as software developers and accreditation agents to establish adequate V&V evidence and correct modeling issues.
• Develops tools to assess the performance parameters identified in analysis and accreditation plans.
• Participates in technical interchange meetings, generates reports and briefs V&V findings.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree
• Experience: 3+ years working on missile defense-related or other DoD program/project
• Active Secret Clearance

Desired Qualifications:

• MatLab and/or Python Experience desired.
• Familiarity with VV&A processes and best practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while reporting results as part of a team.

Salary range starting from $90,00 - $120,000.
