Delivery Technician

Job Summary

The Delivery Technician works under the direction of the Delivery Manager. Transports and delivers CO2 and other gases to customers at various locations. Extensive training program on delivery methods and truck operation.

Drivers work 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week. Routes are assigned daily.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Delivers CO2 and other gases to customers.

2. Communicate with the delivery manager daily regarding schedules, routes and paper work.

3. Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions when needed.

4. While filling CO2 systems at customer locations, keep an awareness of all aspects of the delivery and pump operations. Determine the proper course of action when dealing with damaged or defective equipment.

5. Maintain professional demeanor with clients and customers including fellow employees.

6. Responsible for maintaining the up keep of all company vehicles, equipment and shop facilities. Maintain adequate inventory on all delivery trucks. Coordinate with the purchasing department for reorder of products.

7. Shift and hours may vary to accommodate the customer's needs including possible weekends.

8. Ability to cross train in other department, such as service.

Job Requirements

1. Must have a CDL A or B Driver's License.

2. Must have or be able to obtain Hazmat, Airbrakes and Tanker endorsements.

3. Must be able to pass the TSA background check for DOT Hazmat requirements.

4. Knowledge of DOT regulations preferred.

5. Ability to work in all weather conditions.

6. Must be able to lift 50-75lb on occasion.

7. Must be able to meet MVR minimum requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

1. 1 - 2 years' truck driving experience preferred.

2. Minimum High School Diploma or GED.

3. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay & Benefits:

Salary: $24.00 to $25.00 /hour.

Medical, Dental, Vision and others available after 60 days.

401K with employer match after 90 days.

Eligible for Stock Options after 1 year.
