Via Mobility is currently looking for individuals who are looking to give back to the community and become a Driver with us. Via has a variety of opportunities across different departments including: Via Paratransit (Boulder & Denver), Access-a-Ride, The Hop through Boulder, and Flex Ride. As a Driver you will safely operate either a vehicle or bus and transport passengers, while adhering to Via's Standard Operating Procedures. In this role you will work closely with dispatch on scheduling and routes where you may be responsible for communicating and assisting passengers with disabilities and special needs.
Starting pay varies by department but the base ranges from $18.00-$21.00 per hour with annual increases and shift differentials for applicable hours. There are also hiring bonuses and safety bonuses that one may be eligible for.
Qualifications for Drivers:

Minimum of 21 years of age

Possess a Drivers License that has been continually valid for the previous 2 years
- For some roles CDL Class C and/or B is preferred but will train (no cost to you) to get proper licensing
- Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Examiners certificate

Greet passengers, ensure fare payment, and maintain a safe environment

Must pass physical, random drug testing, and ongoing Motor Vehicle Records checks
