Jr. Business Analyst

Industry: Law Firm/HR

Terms: 6 months contract to hire

Compensation: $35-45/hour

Requirements: ITIL, Agile experience

Junior Business Analyst Summary & Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
  • Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Performing requirements analysis.
  • Documenting and communicating the results of their efforts.
  • Effectively communicating insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
  • Working closely with the business units, technicians, and managerial staff.
  • Providing leadership, training, coaching, to staff on new systems and projects.
  • Allocating resources and maintaining cost efficiency.
  • Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Performing user acceptance testing.
  • Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
  • Updating, implementing and maintaining procedures.
  • Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
  • Managing competing resources and priorities.
  • Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Participate and lead discussion to prioritize projects.
  • Maintaining release schedules.

Junior Business Analyst Requirements:

  • Highly skilled at developing relationships, understanding the business requirements, and participating in business development.
  • Ability to manage a large number of projects.
  • Writes and speaks clearly and informatively.
  • Is strategic, but also demonstrates attention to detail.
  • Clear and persuasive communicator; listens well and problem solves.
  • Willingness and capability to learn a broad knowledge of our client's services.
  • Strong customer services skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft suite of products.
  • Ability to gain a working knowledge of new systems.
