Job description
SSC is looking for a talented and results driven individual that is interested in professional development and working in a team-oriented environment. We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team, on a daily basis you will be responsible for the coordination among owners, subcontractors, architects and engineers.
PROJECT ENGINEER
Job Description:
· Responsible for quality control, subcontract administration, shop drawing review, submittals, RFI's, scheduling, and related support functions.
· Change order management - administrating, pricing, submission and tracking.
· Daily support and assistance to the Project Superintendent and Project Manager.
· Assist with site logistics planning.
· Management of Subtrades and jobsite manpower.
· Participate fully in health, safety, quality, and environmental processes.
· Material procurement and expediting.
· Subcontract administration - defining scope of work, answering inquiries, monitoring progress, tracking and processing payments.
· Maintenance of As-Built plans, and developing and overseeing overall project closeout, including document archival, maintenance and warranty manuals, deficiencies, and warranty work.
· Inventory control - monitoring and tracking of equipment and resources.
· Overseeing commissioning plan development, closeout plan, and their execution.
Job requirements and desired skills:
Requirement - at least 3 years of ground up construction building experience.
· 3 years relevant, progressive project responsibility including field supervision is required.
· Bachelor's Degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
· Demonstrated leadership, communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
· Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite & Bluebeam.
· Estimating experience preferred.
· Scheduling experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
