Job description
TITLE
Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist
LOCATION
Longmont, Colorado for two years then relocate to Plant #3 Location (July 2023)
REPORTS TO
HR Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Owning the hiring process: from creation of job posting to the new hire's first week at New Hire Orientation
* Delivering a welcoming and seamless recruiting and onboarding experience
* Maintaining interactions with friendliness, warmth, and positivity
* Collaborating with hiring leaders to understand qualifications needed for candidates
* Reviewing and screening resumes for open positions across all departments
* Completing phone interviews and being the first point of contact for candidates
* Acting as liaison for the Company and external staffing partners
* Following up and communicating frequently with candidates regarding application statuses and stages of the interview process
* Scheduling all interviews, compiling feedback from interviewers, and extending conditional offers
* Managing all applicants through Workday, our Applicant Tracking System
* Growing our talent pipeline through sourcing efforts and proactive outreach campaigns
* Tracking metrics including: Time To Fill, candidate and onboarding experiences
* (Once it's safe to do so) Coordinating any onsite recruiting events or open houses
* Assisting with the pre-employment process of new hires including background checks, physicals and drug screens, communication of new hire orientation details, and ensuring new hires have a successful start
* Serve as a Recruiting subject matter expert within the plant and coaches team members on systems and processes
* Coordinate new hire orientation, ensures smooth transitions between presenters, acting as a point of contact for answering new hire questions
* Assist in building and managing project plan for Phase II expansion, ensuring we are meeting our monthly headcount targets, providing status reports to leadership team, and participating in problem solving if any headcount goals are at risk
* Create personnel files for new employees
* Assisting HR Department with other duties, as needed
SELECTION CRITERIA
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
* High School Diploma or equivalent is required
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* Previous experience in a Recruiting role required, including working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), preferably in a fast-pace high growth or startup environment
* Previous project management experience preferred

* Willing to work a flexible schedule and overtime as needed
* Able to understand and carry out both oral and written instructions
* Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills including the ability to concisely convey information as well as the ability to give and receive feedback
* Experience delivering quality customer service with warmth and professionalism
* Able to work both independently and on a team
* Extremely organized and detail-oriented; able to juggle multiple priorities at once with grace and a "can-do" attitude
* Self-motivated and can work accurately and independently with minimal direct supervision
* Effective presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
* Builds effective relationships at all levels within the plant
* Identifies improvement opportunities and implements change
* Able to problem-solve, handle stressful situations, and act with a sense of urgency
* Confidence in your computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite applications
* Ability to work with confidential or sensitive information with the utmost discretion
* Able to learn company specific computer systems
* Able to perform the key responsibilities outlined above in accordance with safety standards and practices
* Physical requirements of the job include the ability to:
* Lift and carry up to 25 pounds
* Stand, sit, walk, push, pull, kneel, and squat
* Perform repetitive actions, reach, and feel
* The salary range for this position is $58,500 to $80,000
