POSITION SUMMARY
The Technical Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, engaging, assessing, and hiring talent across all departments and disciplines at Alterra Mountain Company, with a specific focus on hiring technical talent in the Company's Information Technology business unit(s). The Technical Recruiter effectively articulates the culture, ethics, mission, and values of the Company, and provides an exceptional candidate experience to all candidates, regardless of whether or not they are selected to move forward. The ideal candidate has exceptional interpersonal skills, a knack for building relationships with hiring managers built on trust, integrity, and communication, and enjoys finding the absolute best and brightest talent to join the Company's rapidly growing business.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Facilitates the staffing and recruiting process for corporate positions across multiple different departments and disciplines, with a heavy emphasis on technical recruiting within the Company's Information Technology business unit(s)
- Owns full-cycle technical recruiting process, including sourcing candidates, reviewing resumes, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, checking references, selecting candidates, making job offers, and negotiating compensation
- Proactively communicates with hiring managers, giving regular updates on the status of their open position(s)
- Drives a positive candidate experience and proactively educates hiring managers/hiring teams to do the same
- Collects feedback from hiring managers on candidates they have screened/interviewed
- Utilizes Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to its fullest extent and acts as subject matter expert as it pertains to questions and training by other users
- Source passive candidates through proactive outreach by phone, internet, personal and social networks
- Facilitates discussions with hiring managers when a new position opens to gather necessary information and set realistic expectations
- Expertly articulates the culture, ethics, mission and values of Alterra Mountain Company
- Proactively takes ownership of the corporate recruitment process and makes recommendations for process improvements, in partnership with the other members of the Corporate Recruitment team
- Manages relationships with outside recruiting partners and vendors such as colleges/universities, employment agencies, external recruiters, etc.
- Occasionally assists, as needed, destination recruitment teams with tough-to-fill positions
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of full-cycle technical recruitment experience, with proven success recruiting technical talent at all levels and across all disciplines within Information Technology, preferably in a corporate environment
- Proven track record of successfully sourcing, engaging, assessing, and hiring technical talent in a fast-paced corporate environment
- Highly organized individual who is able to manage multiple competing priorities and 15-20+ open positions at any time
- Experience recruiting for Information Technology (IT) roles is a requirement
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Experience building and fostering relationships at all levels
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to think strategically and manage change
- Must be able to work with highly sensitive information and maintain confidences
The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc. salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc.'s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.
Denver area base salary range: $63,000 - $95,000 per year
