The Financial Advisor - Advisory Services is responsible for advising individual plan participants including AAG (Advised Assets Group) clients, IRA, 401(k), 403(b) and 457(b) plan participants. Perform annual and mid-year enrollment and retention reviews for participants. Includes inbound and outbound calls.

While the preference is to hire someone around one of our primary offices, we are open to hiring remotely for the right person.

What you will do

  • Educate and advise plan participants on the Advisory Services available through their plan to assist the participant in reaching their retirement goals

  • Identify, execute, and follow-up on opportunities to contract additional client assets while providing client retirement planning discussions

  • Identify trends and determine proactive solutions to maximize service quality and increase assets under management

  • Make assigned and proactive outbound calls, focusing on defined objectives set for outbound call campaigns

  • Adhere to compliance/risk procedures and exhibit detailed attention to policy and procedures by focusing on the participant's best interest

  • Document information from conversations with clients pertinent to business and relationship development to be referenced for follow-up calls

  • Open brokerage IRAs and taxable retail accounts and perform trading in both accounts

  • Explain and justify past returns in comparison to the economic environment, while acknowledge goal of managed account services

  • Facilitate withdrawals and transfers of assets into taxable accounts and brokerage IRAs

  • Enroll participants in the managed account offering in the Empower Retail account

  • Respond to inquiries regarding the Empower Retail managed platform

What you will bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • 2+ years financial industry experience

  • FINRA Series 7, Series 63, and Series 65 registrations required within established timelines

  • FINRA fingerprinting upon hire

The salary range below describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
