DHI Communities is a multifamily development division of D.R. Horton, Inc.

DHI Communities is currently looking for an Multifamily Recruiter in our Operations Department. The right candidate will recruit, research and track new employees experienced in multifamily construction. Ensure quality and skilled employees are located in a timely fashion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintain knowledge pertaining to skill set and experience required for multifamily design, development and construction
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external agencies that can expand and expedite search for the best, skilled multifamily candidates
  • Stay current on specific laws and regulations required by the multifamily industry
  • Research and develop recruiting leads using job boards and job fairs pertaining to multifamily development and construction
  • Knowledge of social media, job boards and outlets to promote DHI Communities and find experienced multifamily applicants
  • Seek candidates through social media, advertise open positions through internal and external networks or websites
  • Review applications, interview applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job duties and responsibilities
  • Screen and refer candidates for additional interviews with others in organization
  • Perform references on viable applicants
  • Assist executives and field managers with recruiting needs
  • Comply with all federal and state laws and company policies regarding recruitment
  • Work with other DRH Recruiters to promote DHI Communities on social media
  • Update/maintain database with new job openings as they become available
  • Coordinate with other departments as needed to ensure the best candidate for the job
  • Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
  • Ability to work overtime
  • Ability to travel overnight
  • Regular and reliable attendance


Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or
  • Five years related recruiting experience in the multifamily industry; or
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in recruiting multifamily or construction industry preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and attention to detail

Expected salary range: $50,000 - $70,000 Annually - Bonus paid per metrics
