Under general direction, the Senior System Analyst has a unique leadership role in leading scrum ceremonies, analyzing how well software solutions, integrations, data mappings and reporting meet the business needs of the Empower customers. The Senior Systems Analyst writes epics/requirements and user stories for new features and functionality. Additionally, this role may test and monitor new features and functionality effectiveness. Significant experience analyzing multiple data sources/databases and mapping/solving for optimal implementations.
What you will do
- Lead Scrum ceremonies and build on Agile practices
- Works with team management on sprint construction/management, initiative prioritization, and resource management
- Under minimal supervision, reviews logic that drives moderately complex software systems/application functionality
- Examines current systems and team processes
- Works with fellow System Analyst in working with business users on requirement gathering
- Produces specifications for new or modified systems
- Liaisons with other IT staff such as programmers to produce new systems
- Completes moderately complex project tasks within defined milestones.
- May lead or manage projects, may train and mentor less experienced staff
- May provide user training
- Creates Jira Epics and Jira Stories regarding analysis results and development work to be performed
What you will bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related Information systems degree.
What will set you apart
- Minimum five (5) years related systems analysis experience
- Minimum (1) year of Scrummaster experience, execution of Agile methodology at a team level
- CSM Certification
- Experience working in fast paced development environment where flexibility and adaptability is required.
- Ability to lead/work in a team environment
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills are required
- Familiar with or experienced with the AWS cloud platform and services
- Experience in JIRA is a plus

The salary range below describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
