JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Life & Safety team is currently adding a Technical Business Analyst! We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, eager to learn new tools and product and who is flexible and has ability to work within an environment that is fast paced and can change quickly.

The Technical Business Analyst will be Responsible for leading and participating in technical project meetings to solicit, analyze, document, and refine requirements in support of software development and IT infrastructure.

MAJOR JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Technical Business Analysis Functions - Lead and participate in technical project meetings to solicit, analyze, document, and refine the requirements in support of software development, IT infrastructure, platforms development, service delivery or reporting solutions to enhance the productivity of internal departments while ensuring adherence to corporate and departmental policies and procedures
• Project Coordination - Coordinate, prioritize, and participate in activities associated with completing assigned projects or project task(s).
• Problem Resolution - Proactively oversee the activities involved in quality resolution of problems related to area of responsibility
• Team Interfaces - Establish and maintain a professional relationship with team members and department contacts

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants for this job will be expected to meet the following minimum qualifications. Education

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, MIS, business management or technical writing required
• Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational Requirements

Professional Experience

• Minimum three years' experience in documenting technical requirements or business analyst capacity required
• Minimum one year in an information technology role (e.g., application development, application support, quality assurance, IT infrastructure, systems, platforms, etc.) preferred

Other

• Carrier/wireless experience
• Wireless technologies
• Intermediate knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint required

For candidates located in Colorado, the hiring range for this position is anticipated between $65,000-$75,000 and will be commensurate with experience.
